Twitch has been busy addressing the DMCA takedowns that have ravaged them, yet again, recently and now have suspended guitarist Herman Li of DragonForce for streaming his own music.
You read that right.
My Twitch channel is currently suspended. Today I will be streaming on YouTube instead athttps://t.co/BKSH6bI73W
Starts 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 8pm UK.

Li has been one of the most prominent streamers who have dedicated their twitch streams to streaming music, and has even gone as far as to give other streamers permission to reproduce anything from DragonForce’s Maximum Overload, Reaching Into Infinity, and Extreme Power Metal albums, without DMCA issues.
Now, Li is moving over to YouTube, but it shows just how disorganized Twitch is, and how things don’t seem to be getting any better, any time soon.
