Twitch streamer 4Connor has officially left the Twitch streaming platform after racist, transphobic and homophobic messages were leaked.
Back on February 20th, a number of chat logs were posted on Imgur that revealed the comments that 4Conner made in a Discord group channel.
4Conner livestreamed an apology not long after the messages were released, and also announced that he would be leaving Twitch for the foreseeable future as well.
“It is not me” he said during the stream. “It’s not who I am, it is who I was. “In my head, it was all jokes. I never meant any serious harm to anybody’s mentals. But what I said was very bad, and at the end of the day, I was being racist, I was being transphobic, I was being homophobic, I was being antisemitic.
“It’s really hard for me to associate myself with that because I know how I feel” he continued. “I know I have hurt a lot of people.”
Social media called out his apology that he was joking, showing images of him posing with a confederate flag. Other popular twitch streamers have distanced themselves from associating with 4Conner.
