Destiny 2 Undergoing Maintenance

You may have noticed that Destiny 2 is offline and there is a reason for it.

Bungie announced that it took the game’s servers offline today at 11am EST and they will remain offline until 3pm EST.

Bungie will issue a hotfix that will update the game to version 1.1.1.2 as the servers undergo maintenance.

Dylan “dmg04” Gafner, acting community manager, said that the update “will address issues related to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies access.”

It’s assumed that the fix will precede the next Faction Rally, which was originally postponed back in December so a patch could be issued.

Bungie needs to win back a lot of their gamers, who are leaving or that have already left due to mounting frustrations.
