Twitch Streamer ‘Dizzy’ Announces Return

Apex Legend star and twitch streamer Coby “dizzy” Meadows has announced his official return following a hiatus that lasted several months.

Following the death of popular streamer and World of Warcraft gamer Byron “Reckful” Bernstein back in July 2020, dizzy took a hiatus.

Dizzy announced his return on Monday, with the following statement shared on his official Twitter page.

“It’s been awhile, first of all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am okay and that I appreciate every single individual who reached out to me.

I’ve taken a long break from streaming to help better myself. When I suddenly stopped streaming I felt lost, I felt like I wasn’t performing and felt like I just let everyone down with my constant breaks and inconsistent play. I felt I had just burnt myself out.

Around the time of Byron’s passing I was thinking about him the night before and waking up the next morning to the news, I was heartbroken. I fell into a depressed state and just needed some time to myself. I needed a hiatus for my mental health.

I’ve been slowly recovering and I feel like I’m ready to come back to streaming and plan on playing mainly Valorant.

I’ve also decided I’m going to start streaming on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s.
I look forward to being back.
I missed you guys.

I’ll be going live today and returning at 4 PM ET.”

According to the official announcement posted on Wednesday morning (via Portals): “Today, I would like to introduce you to Eclipse, which is a section dedicated to creators who create content in mediums such as film, fan films, performances, stand up comedy, and more. With our powerful marketing structure, and our community of creators who create diverse content across a number of platforms, our mission is to create a space for fan film content creatorsindie film creators, and extended content creators that want to build visibility, improve networking, and build more connections within the content creation industry.

Much like our Content Creator Directory (aka the Stream Directory) we will be providing visitors direct access to content creators of this niche within the Gamactica platform, including previews of their work.

While we will be working with creators who make content in all genres, we will be really pushing the horror genre hard, due to our partnership with horror news website Fright Nerd, and the Fright Nerd Podcast which will be making it’s return soon. Through this partnership we will be able to expand on our benefits with exclusive interviews, trailer releases, and more via the Fright Nerd website.”
