State Of Decay 2 Release Date And Pricetag

Microsoft has announced State of Decay 2’s official release date and pricing details.

State of Decay 2 launches on Xbox One and PC on May 22nd and the game’s price tag may surprise some gamers, especially considering the normal pricetags of new releases.

State of Decay 2’s standard version will cost $30 while it’s Ultimate Edition will run you $50. The Ultimate Edition allows players to access the game on May 18th, 4 days earlier than anyone else.

It also includes the State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition for the Xbox One, the forthcoming Independence and Day Break DLCs (when they are available) and, according to Microsoft, those who pre-order either edition will receive “exclusive in-game pre-order items,” although no details followed.

“Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with the State of Decay community and to foster deeper experiences with the franchise,” Microsoft GM of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg explained.

“We believe State of Decay 2 accomplishes this goal by immersing fans in the ultimate zombie survival fantasy, and we want to give more players the opportunity to join in and experience this unique game.”
