‘Vampyr’ Story Trailer Reveals Journey Of Jonathan E. Reid

Dontnod Interactive’s upcoming action RPG, ‘Vampyr’ is certainly taking a fresh take on the vampire gaming world, one that needs some fresh blood (see what I did there?)

Taking place in London, post WW1, after the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic, players take on the role of Jonathan E. Reid, a mysterious doctor recently turned into a vampire.

Reid must find a cure to save the city’s flu-ravaged citizens but faces a conflict when he has to feed on the people he has vowed to heal.

It’s an internal struggle that carries throughout the game and leads to some interesting twists and turns.

“Survive and fight against Vampyr hunters, undead skals, and other supernatural creatures. Use your unholy powers to manipulate and delve into the lives of those around you, to decide who will be your next victim. Struggle to live with your decisions. your actions will save or doom London.”

  • Be the Vampyr – Fight and manipulate with supernatural abilities
  • Feed to Survive – Be the savior and the stalker
  • Shape London – a Web of inter-connected citizens reacts to your decisions

You can see the story trailer below. It arrives on PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 5th.
