Mortal Kombat XI Rumored for The Game Awards 2018

The Game Awards is boasting 10 new game announcements and many big titles are rumored to be revealed, including the highly anticipated Borderlands 3, and another game is being thrown into the ever-evolving rumor mill for the event.

An anonymous 4Chan post from someone who claims to be a QA tester working on what will be the long-rumored Mortal Kombat XI, states that the game will be one of the aforementioned 10 titles that will be announced during the event.

Additionally, the anonymous tester also claims that the game will have a 4 year development cycle, and it will utilize the Unreal Engine 4. It’s worth noting because NetherRealm games had relied on the Unreal Engine 3 in the past.
