Ubisoft is pulling out all the stops for Far Cry 5. Recently, they announced add-ons that will allow players to venture to Vietnam, out into space on a journey to Mars and land them in a zombie-infested wasteland.
Now, Ubisoft is getting uber-creative by implementing ‘Far Cry Arcade’, which allows players to make their own gaming content using a rather expansive map editor.
In ‘Far Cry Arcade’ players will be able to create their own solo, co-op and competitive PvP levels in Far Cry 5 and the map editor will come stacked with over 7,000 different objects that players can utilize to customize their levels.
Some of this content will be borrowed from Far Cry 5’s campaign, as well as other Ubisoft games such as Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Assassin’s Creed 4, Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed Unity.
The map editor will feature at least 4 game types such as Assault, Bounty Hunt, Journey and Outpost.
Far Cry 5 heads to to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on March 27th.
