No surprise here as both Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 will close out the 2017 year as the top selling games, in terms of revenue, in North America.
Activision stated that Call of Duty: WWII had earned $1 billion in global sales, and that Destiny 2 had already outsold the original Destiny in terms of units sold.
Activision called the launch of Destiny 2, the biggest launch by Activision Publishing on PC ever, claiming it sold more than $325 million in its first five days of availability.
According to Activision, Call of Duty: WWII sold twice as many units as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare did at launch back in 2016.
