ESPN has a history of delivering sports content that has, somewhat, been unrivaled over the years, but they also have a history of trying way too hard at being “cool” or “funny”.
From their inexplicable and awkward attempts at humor to their shifting between in-depth sports coverage and a “Hollywood” gossip-style approach to other topics (ie: LaVar Ball, Tim Tebow, etc), ESPN sometimes can make an ass out of itself.
