It appears that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are heading back to the big screen with a new movie in the works, with Seth Rogen’s production company, Point Grey Pictures, reportedly involved.
According to The Wrap, Rogen’s company is teaming with Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures for the new take on the franchise and will be produced by Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver.
Currently, no story, casting, or release date details have been revealed, however with 2020 marking the 30th anniversary of the first Ninja Turtles movie, it seems something could be revealed later this year.
This is exciting news, and now will surely spawn some fan films for those who want to ride the wave. Often times, that can be a great way for film content creators to get their work to the masses, or for indie filmmakers to get noticed!
