Monster Hunter World Official Launch Trailer

If you’ve been waiting for the launch of the highly anticipated Monster Hunter World, then today is your day. Gamers can finally get their hands on one of the most talked about titles today.

According to the official PlayStation Store, the game should go live around 9pm PST, but there are no scheduled times for the UK PlayStation Store.

Keep in mind, there’s also a day one patch of around 815MB to prep for.

The patch will address:

  • Multiplayer, event quests, chat functionality, and other online features
  • Now able to claim content via the Housekeeper in your room
  • Gallery Mode added to the title menu. The gallery allows you to view all of the cutscenes you have watched so far in the game. The player character that appears in the cutscenes will vary depending on which save data you have loaded.

Capcom will be hosting a free immersive dining experience, the ‘Monster Hunter Meat Shack’, to celebrate the launch and will run until Sunday January 28th.
