Detroit: Become Human is already generating a ton of buzz with fans excited to see what developer Quantic Dream has in store.

Quantic Dream is giving fans a look behind the scenes in a recently released video called “Art of Detroit”, which includes exclusive behind-the-scenes art and the team’s overall process in creating the memorable characters that serves as the foundation of the epic story.

Christophe Brusseaux, the game’s graphic director, says that the team was not planning to make a science-fiction universe, but rather intending to build a world of realization.

“We didn’t want to make a science fiction universe, but a world of anticipation” he said.

“If we chose science fiction, we could have imagine flying cars, extraterrestrials, but those things are very far from our current everyday life. Anticipation is more about gleaning from our contemporary reality, the one we know because Detoit is set in 2038 and 2038 is tomorrow.”
