Players have started to discover a hidden mission, one that could rival The Black Spindle from the original game, and a new exotic sniper rifle looks like it is the successor to the popular long-range weapon.
Destiny 2 offers a mission that leads guardians to a quest, a 380-Power, that rewards those who complete it with an exotic sniper rifle called the Whisper of the Worm.
The activity can only be triggered through the Taken blight public event in Lost Oasis on Io.
The trick is to kill a spawned Taken Knight, Urzok Aspect of Hate, before he escapes, via retreating to a cave. If you are successful at killing him before he flees, a portal will appear.
Once you venture through the portal it will trigger The Whisper, which has a 20-minute timer.
You’ll be rewarded with the Exotic sniper rifle Whisper of the Worm, which comes with White Nail as an intrinsic perk, if you can complete the entire mission, including defeating three bosses in a big fight.
