PUBG Celebrates One Year Anniversary, Offering Free Limited Edition Weapon Skin

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is hitting the one-year milestone, which just goes to show you just how fast time can fly by when you’re having fun, and developer PUBG Corp is looking to celebrate the occasion.

The team has already added new features and a new map, and on Tuesday they implemented new weapon skins, but, that isn’t all.

PUBG Corp announced that it is giving players a free limited edition skin for the SCAR-L, which is officially called the‘Year One – SCAR-L’.

“A lot of things have happened in the world of PUBG in the last year. On the 23rd of March, 2017, we launched on Steam Early Access and so many of you have joined us in the best Battle Royale experience out there. Throughout our journey, we went from a pre-alpha build that only a few select players knew about to one of the most popular games in videogame history.

We achieved this only with your support and generosity! It’s hard to express the kind of gratitude we feel for our players. For some things there are no right words. But as a small token of that gratitude, we’re giving away a free anniversary weapon skin. Anyone who logs into PUBG, until the May 1st week maintenance, will get the Year One – SCAR-L.”
