New Update For Quake Champions Turns Off Hero Abilities

A new update for ‘Quake Champions’ is giving an old school feel to the game as custom games will now have a “No Abilities” mode which will remind fans of the ‘Quake’ of old.

The new update is already live, but, it also returns the one-shot kill Instagib mode, as well as two-on-two ranked play, and some Easter-themed cosmetics to mark the Spring season.

The Scalebearer Pack releases tomorrow and, for $4.99,  it gives players early access to the game (via Steam and Bethesda.net), Scalebearer and Ranger (Quakeguy) as permanently unlocked playable champions, and also gives players three days to play as anyone else.
