Nathan Fillion has made his mark in the video game industry, known for his work in Uncharted and for playing Cayde-6 in Destiny.
With Destiny 2: Forsaken on the horizon, one of the big plot points is the apparent death of Cayde-6, but, while fans debate if Cayde-6 is really dead, it must be noted that Fillion says he has not been involved with the game for the expansion at all, according to Kotaku.
“Actually, I wasn’t available for this last installment. It’s not me doing the voice for Cayde-6,” said Fillion.
Veteran actor Nolan North, who voices the Ghost, will be taking over for Fillion, leaving many to believe that Cayde-6 will return, perhaps as Cayde-7.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is out September 4 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
