Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Playground LTM On It’s Way

Epic Games is continuing to bring new limiited-time modes to Fortnite and a new addition is on it’s way in the near future.

Playground LTM, which has been mentioned by Epic Games in the past, is now set to arrive.

“Let your creativity run wild on your own private island,” Epic’s in-game message said. The mode is expected to arrive in this week’s patch.

Last month, Epic blogged that Playground will feature extended match times, and increased resource generation, saying that Playground “will load you into the Battle Royale Map with some adjusted settings.”

Playground v1 will launch with some adjusted settings for players looking to practice.

“Battle and build to your heart’s content with an extended period of time to roam around the map as well as increased resource generation.

All treasure chests and ammo crates will be spawned, try droppin’ in different spots and scope out the loot. Friendly fire is on so you can scrimmage with your squad (up to 4 friends per match), but fear not you’ll respawn immediately.”

In the next update, titled 4.5, Shopping Carts are also expected to make their arrival.
