Bungie is continuing their efforts to improve the incredibly flawed, and universally rejected, Destiny 2 title after a terrible first few months after launch.
The next DLC, Warmind presents yet another opportunity for Bungie to win back gamers, but it may be even more difficult to get some angry fans to even care after months of flubs.
Warmind will introduce a lot of new things, one of which is a new level cap of 380, and, as senior designer Daniel Auchenpaugh discusses, will be much harder to hit.
Auchenpaugh says that public events won’t be nearly as lucrative or beneficial as they have been, and that clan engrams won’t help players progress on their own as guardians venture towards 380.
Warmind will introduce a 340 soft cap.
Additionally, getting to 340 will be a lot less taxing of a grind while going from 370 to 380 will take a serious grind to accomplish.
The Warmind expansion releases on on May 8th.
