Destiny 2 servers will be down for some time starting on Friday for general maintenance and also to prepare for the launch of The Curse of Osiris DLC.
Maintenance is expected to start at 8:00 a.m. PT and last until 2:00 p.m. You can track all progress via Twitter and Bungie’s website.
Bungie was recently hit hard by widespread criticism from their gamin community and released an apology to it’s fans while promising an expanded slate of changes and reforms in the future.
“Our team has been reading feedback and working on updates to improve the game,” said design director Luke Smith and game director Christopher Barrett. “We’ve also been reading some tough criticism about our lack of communication, and we agree we need to be more open.”
