Destiny 2 has implemented a critical patch that has reopened Iron Banner and Faction Rallies for players who do not have the Curse of Osiris expansion.
Destiny 2’s latest hotfix (1.1.1.2) has gone live across all platforms and now the Iron Banner and Faction Rally events are open to all players, an answer to a long outcry from their gamers.
It sure took Bungie long enough to address this issue, adding another layer of frustration to an already disgruntled community.
December 12’s Faction Rally event was postponed to allow Bungie to apply this much needed fix.
Bungie now turns it’s attention to it’s next DLC, Gods of Mars, which may drop sometime in March.
The pressure is on as Bungie try to fix all the problems it has created and with a strong DLC with Gods of Mars, it could start winning back gamers who have already moved on from the game.
