Destiny 2 Patch 1.2.3 Brings Sweeping Changes To Crucible

Destiny 2 has done a lot of work to fix the widespread issues with the title that had a nightmarish several months after launch, with tons of players leaving in frustration with how Bungie approached the sequel to the popular FPS.

One are that Bungie has made a lot of ground up in is Crucible, steering away from it’s heavy reliance on team shooting, dramatically improving the gameplay experience and bringing players back in recent Iron Banner events.

Now, in Patch 1.2.3, Bungie is doing even more to improve Crucible, which seems to be the way to get players who have exited the game, to return.

Bungie will now bring Quickplay from 4v4 to 6v6, and thus, Control and Clash game modes will have their point threshold brought up a bit.

Supremacy will be removed from the Quickplay playlist, becoming a weekly featured playlist instead, and Rumble will also become a full-time playlist as well.

Valor and Glory, which are  the new ranked systems added in Warmind, will provide players with even more chances to earn more.

Competitive matchmaking will now match players with similar Glory rank, rather than a hidden MMR, all in an effort to create a more balanced Crucible experience in the upcoming patch, which will be available on July 17th,
