The release of the highly-anticipated Dark Souls: Remastered is only a few short days away, and fans will be happy to know that the infamous Blighttown area, which has proven to be quite the annoying grind for players, has been addressed.
Digital Foundry released a video that dives into the history of Blighttown, explaining how it chewed up the FPS of all the consoles that they have attempted to run it on, even the souped up Xbox One X, and now the team has it running without dipping below 60 fps.
Dark Souls: Remastered arrives on May 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is also expected for the Nintendo Switch, but no details have been released regarding it’s new launch date.
