Bungie Aiming To Make Destiny 2 Enemies More Difficult

It’s time to make things more challenging for guardians fighting the good fight in Destiny 2, and Bungie is looking to give enemies a nice buff when the Warmind expansion launches on May 8th.

Destiny 2 combatants design lead Tomonori Kinoshita laid out some plans during Bungie’s weekly update, that will make Season 3 a much bigger deal.

Here are some highlights:

  • Lower-leveled Guardians will find it more difficult squaring off against enemies at a higher level
  • If enemy threshold is too wide, over 50 power, enemies will become immune to damage
  • Changes coming to how shield/energy element matching works
  • Matching the energy element of that shield will now deal 300 percent damage in addition to the damaging explosion a matched shield makes.
  • new modifier to Prestige Nightfalls
