Rainbow Six Siege Developer Addressing Toxicity

Ubisoft, the developer behind the popular Rainbow Six Siege, is cracking down on toxicity that exists in the game’s multiplayer modes.

In a recent blog post, the company discusses the measures it is taking to improve player behavior , which includes a chat monitoring system.

Additionally, Ubisoft plans to track  individual players’ use of racial or homophobic slurs, issuing bans based on severity that will range from days to weeks, and in some cases, will be permanent.

Ubisoft is implementing measures to address intentional team killing, tracking and disciplining “long-term offenders”, and players will be able to mute and filter out voice and text channels from toxic players on an individual basis.

All in the name of creating  better gaming environment for Rainbow Six Siege.
