A recent patch has dramatically improved the gameplay of Doom for the Nintendo Switch, a move that was desperately needed for the long-term sustainability of the title.
The patch added motion controls and a party system for online play, in addition to an improved gameplay.
Panic Button, the game’s developer, “increased the average resolution in lower-res areas of the game” along with some CPU optimizations and fans have already taken to social media to show off the comparisons of the game’s graphics prior to the patch, and now that the patch has been implemented.
Additionally, Panic Button is continuing to optimize the game’s performance on the Nintendo Switch.
