Nintendo will release an upgraded model of their Switch console in 2019, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The upgrade is likely in response to sales that, while still solid, have tapered off a bit since a strong first year on the market back in 2017. Nintendo is rumored to be mulling a new screen display with an alternative that’s brighter, thinner and lighter than the current version.
It is expected to arrive in summer of 2019.
