Brazilian director, screenwriter and cinematographer Gabriel Martins, who directed the working class family drama ‘Mars One’, has officially signed with CAA for representation, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Martins’ ‘Mars One’, which was his solo feature directorial debut, was selected as Brazil’s submission for best international feature film at the next Academy Awards, and the film marks the first to be helmed by a Black Brazilian director to represent the South American country.
Martins graduated in filmmaking from the Centro Universitário UNA in Belo Horizonte.
