Microsoft Flight Simulator Closed Beta Kicks Off July 30

Microsoft Flight Simulator is set to head into closed beta at the end of the month on July 30th, once the build goes through final testing.

For players that participated in the alpha, you will be granted access to the closed beta, and invitations for alpha have been sent to those who signed up.

Additionally, more invitations to the closed beta will be sent out to Insiders as time progresses.

A new update has also been deployed, and Alpha build 1.5.4.0 fixes some bugs, improves the flight model, made tweaks to the weather, and implemented changes to some of the planes, airports, and more.

There has been talk that the game could make an appearance during the upcoming Microsoft Games Showcase.
