Summit1g Says He is Danger of Twitch Ban Over DMCA

Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar has built an incredible brand, and impressive following, on the Amazon owned streaming platform Twitch, but he is worried that his channel may be subjected to a Twitch ban over DMCA issues.

“It’s getting kinda serious, I gotta be honest,” Summit1g said during a recent stream (h/t Dexerto). “I’ve been DMCA’d three times now. And I had to send off emails saying like ‘Yo, I started this deletion process, I need these reverted.’ I’m assuming that something went down because I’m not banned and I’m on a three-strike banger.”

A viewer asked if SummitG would potentially be protected from a DMCA strike or accompanying Twitch ban due to his popularity on Twitch, but he expressed that he is still worried.

“When it comes down to getting sued by the music industry, or getting rid of the streamer that’s causing that suit, I don’t know man, I’m a little worried.”

You can check out a clip from the conversation, which occurred during one of his recent live streams, right here.
