Square Enix Lifts Streaming, Content Restrictions for Dragon Quest Games

Dragon Quest

Japanese content creators will be happy to learn that Square Enix has officially lifted it’s streaming and content restrictions for the Dragon Quest franchise of games that limited what content creators could monetize.

“Communication has changed with the times, and communication through networks is now quite commonplace,” Square Enix said, on their official website. “Distribution of videogames on the internet is becoming a more popular as one of the fun ways to play games, just like conversations with friends.”

“The Dragon Quest series has taken a positive view of these changes and has already released guidelines for video, live streaming, and image posting in each of the games,” they stated. “We hope that these guidelines will enhance your communication and make the Dragon Quest series even more enjoyable.”
