Shroud Clocks Over 500,000 Views During First Stream Back on Twitch

Talk about a warm welcome back! Shroud’s return to Twitch was an epic success, one that even shocked him as he clocked over 500,000 viewers, according to The Verge.

Shroud’s audience had to wait a bit longer than anticipated, as a ‘Starting soon’ message stayed up until the popular streamer went live around 2:50pm EST.

His stream saw viewer numbers continue to rise as he played Valorant, maintaining between about 400,000 and 475,000 active viewers while playing the Riot Games’ tactical shooter.

“I don’t know why there are so many of you here, but I appreciate it,” Shroud said during the stream (h/t Polygon). “I’m just a normal dude who likes to play games a lot. It’s crazy, man. Crazy.”
