Shadowlands Race to World First Lands World of Warcraft as Top Game on Twitch

Shadowlands Race to World First

World of Warcraft has found continued success on Twitch, and thanks to it’s Race to World First raid, it became Twitch’s most-watched title this past week.

The premier of the raid, which is part of World of Warcraft’s new Shadowlands expansion, kicked off with servers in North America gaining access to the raid and Castle Natharia back on December 15th, and the viewership numbers have been stacking up ever since.

According to Esports Charts, the race helped boost World of Warcraft to more than 37 million hours watched on Twitch, with peak viewership coming on the final day of the event, which saw Complexity Limit and Echo come close to a World First kill, with Complexity Limit scoring the victory.

According to SullyGnome, the game had just under 380,000 viewers as the race to victory was closing out.
