Earlier this week, we highlighted a test stream on YouTube made by Ninja’s channel that heavily suggested the former Twitch and Mixer streamer may end up on YouTube in the wake of the Mixer shutdown.
Ninja started streaming on YouTube, clocking in on over 130,000 viewers as he played Fortnite with popular streamers such as TimTheTatman, Dr Lupo and CourageJD.
That viewership mark alone is a massive increase from what he saw during the last few weeks on Mixer, where he was seeing an average of 2-3 thousand viewers.
Ninja already has close to 24 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, but can only rely on donations to monetize his streams, which has opened the door for his return to Twitch.
According to the Sporting News, Esports reporter Rod Breslau says Ninja is still in talks with streaming platforms, which he stated on his Twitter page.
This would open the door for talks for a return to Twitch, where Ninja was the clear king of Twitch channels and where his streams catapulted him to superstardom and mainstream notoriety.
Despite fans looking for any news or insight as to where Ninja will land next, he did not discuss any future plans during his YouTube stream on Wednesday.
