Treyarch released a brand new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War over the weekend with a ton of bug fixes, but also an important update aimed at addressing team killing in League Play.
League Play, the recently launched competitive ruleset, has received a new friendly fire rule, and the update now raises the penalty for team killing. An accidental kill will trigger all damage dealt to teammates to be applied back to the attacker, and if the attacker continues to damage teammates (even if ricochet is activated” they will be removed from the game following two more attempts.
Here is more, courtesy of Raven Software:
• Fixed issue causing hit markers to not appear consistently
• Fixed issue with weapon XP not awarding as intended in MW multiplayer
• Fixed issue with UI elements on the Loadout Menu
• Updated Valentine’s weekend playlist names
