Beatport has officially partnered with Twitch that will see Beatport bring more exclusive music and programming to its Twitch channel, according to Variety.

Beatport has amassed over 140,000 followers, and has reached over 48 million views on marathon livestream events like ReConnect (benefiting COVID-19 Relief), a fundraiser for the Beirut explosion, and  festival partnerships including Glastonbury, Movement Detroit, Junction 2 and Creamfields, and will now add to Twitch’s evolving focus on music streams and live performances.

“We have seen firsthand how live streams are playing a crucial role in nurturing the dance music community during the pandemic, with millions of fans watching our events on a regular basis” Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels said, per the report.

“We have learned that in addition to big global events, dance music fans are interested in hyper-local live streams as well.  That is why we are committed to focus a large portion of our live streams and content to takeovers from local collectives who are absolutely essential to nightlife culture globally, and now more than ever, need visibility during the global pandemic.”

“Beatport has been a key part of Twitch’s music growth over the past couple of years, driving the diversity and artistry of the electronic music industry in unparalleled ways,” Will Farrell-Green, Head of Music Content at Twitch added. “When events all moved to virtual this year, Beatport was one of the first to accelerate their programming on Twitch. We’re thrilled to expand this partnership to continue connecting this group of avid electronic music fans globally.”

With our powerful marketing structure, and our community of creators who create diverse content across a number of platforms, our mission is to create a space for fan film content creatorsindie film creators, and extended content creators that want to build visibility, improve networking, and build more connections within the content creation industry.

Much like our Content Creator Directory (aka the Stream Directory) we will be providing visitors direct access to content creators of this niche within the Gamactica platform, including previews of their work.

While we will be working with creators who make content in all genres, we will be really pushing the horror genre hard, due to our partnership with horror news website Fright Nerd, and the Fright Nerd Podcast which will be making it’s return soon.
