Twitch steamer Asmongold, who found himself on the receiving end of backlash following recent controversial comments, has announced that he is taking a week-long break from the steaming platform.
Asmongold did not provide details as to why, but asked that fans do not speculate as to why made the decision.
“I’m not sure what the hell is wrong with me but I still feel really weird about streaming” he stated on Twitter. “Why? I honestly don’t know. It doesn’t make logical sense to me I’m going to take a week off and try to recalibrate myself, sorry to let everyone down again. I’ll be back afterwards.
BTW–I know I have the tendency to overshare and I’m sure a lot of you guys want to speculate and help even but I’d ask to keep it to a minimum A lot of this is personal and I need to figure it out on my own. I love you guys and I want to be the best version of myself for you”
