Women in Esports Partners with Rix.GG for VALORANT Tournament

The British Esports Association’s initiative Women in Esports has officially teamed up with United Kingdom esports organization Rix.GG which will see the two host a female-only VALORANT tournament entitled ‘The Huntress Trials’.

It’s a great step for women who compete in esports and will shed a bigger spotlight on female esports players as well as female streamers as well. The tournament is set to take place from January 30th through January 31st and is designed to promote diversity and inclusivity within the esports industry.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Rix.GG to host The Huntress Trials, to not only provide opportunities to females within the industry but to showcase talent” Morgan Ashurst, Marketing Manager at British Esports said in an official press release.

“We are deeply committed to growing the grassroots esports scene here in the UK, which is why we are so excited to announce this tournament partnership with Women in Esports” Jorden Dakin-White, Head of PR and Content at Rix.GG added.

“We hope this event is the first stepping stone to make esports more diverse, inclusive, and female-friendly in the UK and EU.”
