Huya Partners with ESL, DreamHack to Broadcast Competitions in China

China’s Huya, one of the countries most popular streaming platform, is partnering with ESL and DreamHack to become the exclusive broadcaster for esports competitions, broadcasted in the Chinese language, for the next year.

Kicking off at the Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 events scheduled from ESL and DreamHack and will be broadcast in Chinese, Mandarin, and other Chinese languages and dialects for 2020, covering  “all upcoming Masters properties from the ESL Pro Tour,” such as ESL One, IEM, and ESL Pro League events.

Additionally, Huya acquired the rights to broadcast DreamHack CS:GO and Dota 2 tournaments via a sub-licensing agreement.
