FaZe Clan’s Ewok Comes Out as Trans and Bisexual on National Coming Out Day

FaZe Clan’s Soleil ‘Ewok’ Wheeler, who is also one of the more popular streamers on Twitch, celebrated National Coming Out Day by officially coming out as transgender and bisexual.

The announcement means that Ewok is the first transgender guy on a T1 esports organization, according to Dexerto.

It’s another milestone for Ewok, who  became the first girl to ever join FaZe Clan when she joined the esports organization back in July 2019.

According to Ewok’s announcement on TwitLonger: “This is my coming out post. I am transgender. ( FTM ) I goes by ( He/Him ) now. There’s difference between gender and sexual orientation. I am bisexual aswell. Today is national coming out day. Not everybody are ready to come out and it is not all about coming out. It’s about celebrating others and finally free to walk in beautiful paradise with others. To many, you are worthy and loved. Take your time. You are still valid. I want to be open about it and educate people but feel comfortable with myself. I never felt right in girl body and struggled. When I was 11 years old, I dressed up like a boy and grabbed some of my little brother’s clothes. I took pictures. For past eight years, I never was truly happy with myself and struggled. Last many years, I was at my lowest and I had bad episodes during school. I was frustrated and angry at myself. I am working on it and I am getting better. To this day, I realized that you can’t avoid any bad situations and you’ll have to face them eventually. I know the transition and stuff will be tough for me. I am nervous as hell. This is huge especially I am in FaZe and first transgender guy in t1 esports organization. There are not many trans people on organizations or stuff like that. I want to be honest as possible with you guys. This is truly a big decision and I know it’ll impact some people. I’ll need y’all support. I truly appreciate it if you supports. It means the world to me. Thank you. Thank you for being patient with me.”
