Enthusiast Gaming has announced their acquisition of Omnia Media, which is a broker for content creators/streamers such as Shroud, Pokimane, Anomaly, and MrBest, according to Forbes’ Christina Settimi.

The Canadien based esports organization purchased the Los Angeles based brand for $38 million (approximately CDN $50 million) in cash and stock.

“Gaming is the new social network, and we’re building it,” Enthusiast CEO Adrian Montgomery said.

Omnia is also expected to add $53 million (CDN $70 million) to Enthusiast’s top line, and the combined companies’ revenue is projected to be $83 million (CDN $110 million) this year which is two times what the most lucrative esports companies generated in 2019.

Enthusiast has acquired around a dozen gaming companies over the past three years, with Omnia Media being the lastest.
